Artist statement
My artistic practice centers around the theme of communication. In my visual art, I explore self-communication, while my design projects focus on creating solutions to improve communication between people. Growing up surrounded by individuals working with form, expressing thoughts through shapes became second nature to me. Unlike the traditional design practices in my family, I find it crucial to understand what my works communicate back to me. Through my creations, I gain access to hidden thoughts that would otherwise remain unnoticed and unrecognized.
My work often reflects the convergence of external stimuli and internal reflections. Paintings become temporary decorations of my room, informing me about the most vibrant aspects of my current state. The process of creating these pieces, be it inspired by walks in the park, interactions with objects, or the simple act of sitting and observing allows me to delve deeply into my subconscious.
